    What is LEED?

LEED© is an internationally recognized certification system that measures how well a building or community performs across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.

The Green Building Certification Institute has created the LEED Green Associate credential, which denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. More information on the certification is available here.

This course offers expert instruction from professionals in their fields plus instructional handouts, reference books and a practice exam.

    Participants will:

    • Learn about environmentally sustainable construction from leading experts in green design and construction management education
    • Expand their existing knowledge base in preparation for the LEED® Green Associate exam
    • Integrate environmental concerns with career goals
    • Connect with experts in the industry, and fellow construction professionals
    • Enhance their careers in a convenient educational setting
